Whether you prefer the traditional fragrance of fresh marigolds and banana leaves or a more modern, lush floral canopy, I handle the structural layout and lighting to ensure the area feels like a temple. You focus on the rituals, and I make sure the setting is worthy of the occasion. My process starts by understanding the space you have available. Mumbai homes often have compact corners, and I specialize in working with those dimensions to build setups that look expansive and full. **My Approach to Festive Styling** I focus on mixing textures. I might use traditional elements like banana leaves, brass bells, or marigold garlands for a root-level connection to the festival, but I balance them with fresh Dutch roses, orchids, or lilies to keep the look sophisticated. For Ganpati decoration, the goal is to frame the idol in a way that feels immersive, using techniques like ceiling canopies or cascading backdrops to draw the eye upward. **Practical Details for Your Event** * **Customization:** I do not believe in cookie-cutter designs. If you want a specific Sanskrit shloka as the backdrop, or a color palette that matches your home decor, we can discuss that during the initial call. * **Materials:** I work with high-density fresh flowers. I am honest about what works best in the humidity of Mumbai, so I will always suggest combinations that will stay vibrant for the duration of your festival. * **Setup and Tear-down:** For major festivals, my team manages the entire installation and the post-event clearing. You do not need to worry about the logistics of the framework or the cleanup. Whether you are looking for a simple, elegant floral frame for Janmashtami or a grand mandap for Ganpati, I aim to provide a stress-free experience so you can focus on welcoming the blessings into your home. ## About Fashnkraft I’m Prachi, and I’ve been styling celebrations in Mumbai since 2000.
