My rule is simple: if it is going on your skin, it should not just look good, it must be safe. Whether you are a bride or a budding artist, understanding ingredients like comedogenic compounds is non-negotiable. That is why I do not just pick luxury brands, I pick what actually performs. I started Faritas to carry forward my mother's legacy, but my obsession has always been the why behind the makeup. In my academy, I teach that a flawless base is not about using the most expensive foundation, it is about lymphatic drainage prep, the right hydration mist, and understanding how products react to Mumbai's humidity. ### My Kit Philosophy We talk a lot about 'value for money' versus products that are 'heavy on the pocket.' I guide my students and clients on which products you can splurge on, like a high-quality eyeshadow topper or a long-wear concealer, and which ones you can save on. You need to build a kit that works for you, not just one that looks pretty on a vanity shelf. ### Essential Skin Prep Prep is a non-negotiable step. If you use the wrong product on your skin, toh musibat ho sakti hai (you can land in trouble). For a bridal look, I rely on a combination of luxury serums and proper manual massage techniques to ensure the skin is hydrated, de-puffed, and ready for 12+ hours of wear.
