For dinner setups, we use a custom ceiling mask combined with tiered crystal chandeliers and china rice lights, which essentially turns a standard tent into a warm, enclosed room. It completely changes the mood from an open field to a private lounge, ensuring your dinner guests are not just eating, they are dining in an environment we have actually built from scratch. Lighting and seating are rarely just about visibility and comfort. They are the primary tools we use to define the boundaries of your event space. When we arrive at a venue like Dhananjay Garden in Sangli, we look at the empty space and decide exactly where to create intimacy. ### The Lighting Strategy We move beyond standard floodlights. Our approach involves: * **Layered Atmosphere:** We mix high-intensity truss-mounted beams for performance areas with softer, warm-toned chandeliers and fairy light canopies for dining sections. * **Mood Control:** By using blue ambient washes against dark fabric masking, we can make an entire tent feel like a starry, late-night venue, regardless of the time of day. * **Technical Rigging:** All lighting is mounted on aluminium box truss grids, allowing us to suspend heavy chandeliers and crystal fixtures safely without relying on existing venue supports. ### Seating and Flow For crowds of up to 8,000, furniture placement is a matter of logistics. We use specific density planning (allocating roughly 6 sq. ft. per person) to ensure that the layout remains spacious. * **VIP Zones:** We deploy faux-leather sofas and ornate throne chairs to create distinct pockets of comfort, separating the main seating from the high-traffic areas. * **Entrance Design:** Your entrance is the first point of contact. We build 12-foot thematic arches with matching carpet runners to transition guests from the outdoors into your specific theme, whether that is a Royal Rajwada entrance or a modern, minimalist design. We handle the installation of wooden ply-base flooring to ensure that no matter the ground conditions, your guest seating is perfectly level and stable. ## About Mauli Decorators At Mauli Decorators, wedding decor runs in our veins.
