Every lehenga and frock I make includes 2 to 3 inches of extra concealed margin inside the waist and bodice. This means your little one can wear their favorite festive outfit for more than just one celebration, even as they grow taller. ### The Soul of the Craft When I source fabrics for Eva Couture, I look for a balance between traditional richness and kid-friendly texture. Whether it is Kanchi Pattu, Banarasi silk, or lighter Zari Kota, the goal is always to keep the fabric breathable. ### Why Maggam Work Matters Maggam work is more than just decoration, it is a labor of love. I focus on intricate embroidery using Zari, beads, and stones to create motifs like peacocks, lotus, and parrots. * **Necklines:** I design the embroidery around the neckline so it frames the face beautifully without being scratchy. * **Sleeves:** You will see details like puff sleeves, scalloped edges, and detailed borders that add a modern touch to the traditional silhouette. * **Durability:** Because kids run, play, and explore, I ensure the embroidery is reinforced so it stays intact even with frequent wear. ### The Importance of Lining Many store-bought silk outfits can feel stiff or itchy against a child’s skin.
