## About Desserts & Baked Goods

### The Story Behind My Bakes

Baking isn’t just a job for me. *Yeh upaashi poti paahileli swapna aahet amchi* (These are dreams I’ve seen on an empty stomach). Every batch comes straight from my heart and my home kitchen in Vile Parle East. Started in 2020, and now, I’m grateful to be making sweets for all kinds of occasions.

### 100% Veg & Homemade Goodness

All my desserts are homemade vegetarian desserts. No shortcuts, no hidden ingredients. Sab kuch veg hi hai - always.

### For Cravings & Celebrations

From custom theme cupcakes for kids’ birthdays to photo-logo toppers for corporate gifting, I’ve got you. Bulk orders for parties? Been there, done that. My fudgy brownies and cookies are solid crowd-pleasers, and you can get them as part of a hamper or as a full brownie cake.

### Bestseller Alert: Mawa Cake

My mawa cake is the one thing people come back for. It’s rich, full of dry fruits, and super moist - feels like home in every bite.

### Festive and Seasonal Treats

I make Diwali special sweets like gluten-free laddoos (Pan Gulkand, Rose Almond, Sugar-Free Date & Dry Fruit). Strawberry season? Fresh strawberry cake is on the menu. For Raksha Bandhan, my bento cakes are a mini celebration.

### Dietary Needs? Just Ask

Most stuff is 100% veg. For vegan-friendly or gluten-free options, check with me directly - I’ll help you out where I can.

*Simple hai!* I bake from home and run a weekend dessert stall on Malviya Road, Vile Parle East. If you’re around, drop by and see what’s fresh.

## Meet your expert

[Mitali Datar](https://mytribe.in/etsy.cakesy)

### My story

Started out in 2020, just asking folks, ‘can I bake for you?’ Mumbai rains, street stall, no fancy setup—just me, my dreams, and my mum holding me up. ‘Aavad aani aatmavishwas asel tar, kontihi goshta avghad nahi’ (if you’ve got passion and confidence, nothing’s too tough). My family’s everything. First iPhone was a gift, now I bought my own. I’m just a Mumbai girl, baking with my heart, grateful for every little win.

### My work

- **Homemade, 100% Veg Goodies**: I bake all-veg cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, mawa cakes, and eggless festive laddoos.
- **Signature & Fun Cakes**: Love making multi-tier engagement cakes, rotating spacer cakes, money pull-out cakes, and even realistic chicken leg cakes.
- **Vile Parle Cake Stall**: Catch me at my stall every Fri-Sun evening. Menu keeps changing, always something new along with my bestsellers.
- **Custom Orders**: Birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers—tell me your theme and I’ll bake a special customised cake for you.
