### Weekend Starter (4 Sessions)

Once-a-week entry-level batch focused on stance, balance, and falling safety with no equipment provided.

Typically ₹1,200-1,600 per month (estimate)

#### Class Structure & Venue
*   **Schedule:** 4 sessions per month, held once a week (Saturday OR Sunday).
*   **Duration:** 75 minutes total per session. Includes 15 minutes off-skate fitness, 15 minutes gear-up, and 45 minutes active rink time.
*   **Location:** Outdoor open-air rink (training is subject to weather conditions).

#### Curriculum Focus
*   **Safety Drills:** Techniques for falling forward on knee pads to prevent injury.
*   **Basics:** Learning the "V" stance, weight distribution, marching on skates, and basic rolling.
*   **Fitness:** Off-skate exercises like jumping jacks and stretching to build ankle strength.

#### Prerequisites (Not Included)
*   **Equipment:** Students must bring their own Quad Skates, helmet, and full safety guards (knee, elbow, wrist).
*   **Instruction Style:** Group training format (typically 1:15 or 1:20 ratio), not 1-on-1 personal training.

### Standard Weekend Batch (8 Sessions)

Twice-a-week training (Sat & Sun) covering gliding, braking, and dry-land fitness for faster muscle memory retention.

Typically ₹2,400-2,800 per month (estimate)

#### Schedule & Progression
*   **Frequency:** 8 sessions per month, held on both Saturday AND Sunday mornings (typically 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM).
*   **Continuity:** Consecutive day training ensures muscle memory retention and reduces re-learning time each week.

#### Skill Development
*   **Techniques:** Progresses from marching to gliding strokes, "A-frame" turns, and toe-stop braking.
*   **Agility:** Drills involve navigating around plastic cones to improve steering and control.
*   **Assessment:** Regular evaluation by senior coaches to check readiness for advanced Speed or Inline batches.

#### Dry Land Fitness
*   **Endurance:** 15 to 20 minutes of running laps without skates to build stamina.
*   **Strength:** Specific exercises including squats, lunges, and plank variations to support heavy skating posture.

### Why Skating With Us Feels Different

I’ve lived on skates since I was a kid, so I know what it feels like to start fresh. At Esther Roller Skating Club, the first step on wheels is all about finding your own rhythm. Doesn’t matter if you’re a total newbie or just looking for a cool way to move – you’re welcome here. Seeing someone go from shaky to steady, that’s what keeps me hooked.

### What’s in Our Beginner Program

You’ll be in good company - our group has everyone from school kids to adults who couldn’t tell a quad from an inline a week ago. We keep it chill, but you’ll learn solid basics. Here’s how we keep things real:

- You start on quad skates for stability, and if you want, we help you switch to inlines later.
- Safety gear? No negotiations. Helmet, knee pads, elbow pads - always on. I’m strict about this!
- We mix skating drills with off-skate workouts, like lunges and sit-ups, so you get fitter and stronger, not just faster.

### Where, When, Who

Classes run every weekend, early morning at Play Arena, Sarjapur Road. All ages, all skill levels - if you want to try, you’re in.

### The ERSC Vibe

We cheer for every “first” - first lap, first time on your own. You won’t skate alone here. Our motto? Practice hard, celebrate harder. You’ll join a group that pushes each other, supports each other, and just loves to skate.

### What You Take Home

You’ll learn the same skills that have taken some of my students all the way to big competitions. But mostly, you get a safe, fun start and a new way to move. Weekend skating classes Bangalore, learn quad skating basics, roller skating for fitness - that’s what we do.

### My story

We’re Esther Roller Skating Club, started by me, Esther. Skating’s been my thing since I was a tiny kid, thanks to my mom. From parks to podiums, I’ve slid, skated, and glided my way to over 100 golds. ERSC began in 2005 with just 40 kids and now, we’re 10,000 strong. We’re a proper family here – skaters, parents, coaches, all cheering each other on. For me, skating is a lifetime joy, not just a sport.

### My work

- **Coaching for all styles**: We teach Speed skating, Alpine skating classes, Downhill, Ice skating, and Inline hockey training for every level.
- **Building champions**: Discipline, focus, and grit – that’s our way. Our skaters win medals at all levels, including national competitions.
- **Family vibes**: ERSC is more than a club. We celebrate wins together, and our ‘mommies of ERSC’ group keeps the spirit alive.
- **Skating for special needs children**: We mentor kids with special needs, helping them build confidence and compete in events like Special Olympics.
