From sourcing the raw herbs for my hair oils to handwriting the notes in your hampers, I handle every step myself. It is a one-woman show, and while I get nervous about every batch, knowing it is made fresh just for you is what makes the long hours worth it. Building Plush has not been a straight line. Seven years ago, it started in a tiny room with just my mom and me, experimenting with soap recipes. Today, my home workspace is where the real magic happens. ### The Reality of Handmade People often see the curated photos on social media, but behind those shots is a very different reality. My days are a mix of sourcing raw, toxin-free ingredients like rosemary and curry leaves for my hair infusions, managing inventory, and yes, even running to get shipping supplies when I run out. ### Why I Do It I am a self-confessed 'anxious girl' who has to put on a brave face for the world. But honestly, my work is my therapy. Every time I blend a Vitamin C serum or shape a goat milk soap, I am putting my heart into it. I have faced competition from big celebrity brands, and it is tempting to want to quit sometimes. But then I get a message from a client who loved their custom hamper, and it keeps me going. ### What You Get Everything here is fresh. I do not believe in bulk manufacturing or cheap shortcuts.
