Kathak on the grand stage requires a delicate balance between technical precision and emotional connection. In my performances, I emphasize the Jaipur Gharana style, known for its speed, intricate tatkar (footwork), and powerful chakkar (spins). 

For solo recitals, I focus on abhinaya, the art of storytelling. These performances allow for deep audience connection, as I often dive into traditional compositions or thematic pieces that explore mythology and human emotion. If you are looking for a larger production, my ensemble shows bring a synchronized intensity. We design formations and rhythmic interplay to create a visual spectacle that works well for festivals and corporate shows.

Beyond the performance itself, I handle the artistic direction. Whether it is a full-scale show like 'Nritya Arpan' or a customized set for a private event, I ensure the music, lighting, and movement tell a cohesive story. My performances are adaptable; I can work with high-fidelity pre-recorded audio or coordinate with live musicians depending on the scale and nature of your event. I am Eshani, a Kathak practitioner carrying forward the Jaipur Gharana legacy passed down from my mother, Guru Radhika Sathe. My approach to performance is about storytelling—whether it is a solo recital for an intimate audience or a large-scale ensemble production for festivals. I treat every stage as a space for sadhana and pure communication.
