## About The Art of Natural Dyeing & Tie-Dye

In these workshops, we skip the synthetic dyes entirely. You will work with raw botanicals—marigold petals for deep yellows or sappanwood for rich reds—to create your own patterns. Expect things to get a little messy as we boil, fold, and dip, but that is exactly how you learn to see the real colours hidden in nature.

Natural dyeing is more than just a craft; it is a lesson in patience and observation. Unlike synthetic alternatives, working with plant-based sources requires understanding how heat and acidity change the final shade. During our sessions, we focus on traditional tie-dye folding techniques—twisting, binding, and clamping fabric—before immersing it into dye baths prepared fresh from marigold, sappanwood, or indigo.

We host these sessions across various venues in Bengaluru, from open parks to quiet garden cafes like Copper + Cloves. My work here is about helping you rediscover nature through hands-on art.
