You will not just learn a pattern; you will understand the alignment, pressure, and ink consistency needed to get a clean print every time, whether you are working on a cotton tote bag or textured handmade paper. ### Beyond the Stamping The traditional Bagru technique involves much more than just stamping fabric. It is a mindful process of choosing the right woodblock, mixing natural pigments, and applying consistent pressure to get a crisp impression. In my sessions, we strip away the machinery and mass production to focus entirely on the human touch. We start with the basics of composition and alignment. You will learn why certain blocks work better on cotton than on handmade paper, and how to manage the ink saturation so your design stays sharp. ### Why Natural Inks Matter Most commercial prints use chemical dyes that are harsh on the skin and the environment. I started this journey in my mother's kitchen, driven by curiosity and a love for nature's colors.
