## About Youth Training & Foundation Courses

We do not just put a rifle in a student's hand. Our foundation course is built on a 20 to 25-day module that balances shooting mechanics with physical and mental conditioning. From posture correction and trigger operation to Trataka (eye concentration) and pranayam, we teach young shooters that consistency is built as much off the range as it is on the firing line.

### Building a Foundation
At Eklavya Sports Shooting Academy in Gottigere, Bannerghatta Road, we approach youth training with the same rigor used for national-level athletes. Our foundation course is designed to introduce young shooters (aged 8+) to the technical and mental demands of 10M air rifle and air pistol shooting.

### What the Training Covers
We focus on a comprehensive skill set that goes beyond hitting the bullseye:
* **Weapon Mechanics:** Understanding safety rules, loading, stance, and trigger control using both Indian and imported equipment.
* **Physical Fitness:** Exercises specifically for shooters to improve posture and stability.
* **Mental Conditioning:** Techniques like Trataka and breathing exercises to foster the calm focus required for marksmanship.

### A Structured Learning Environment
Our facility features a 16-lane ISSF-standard indoor range, which provides a safe, controlled, and professional atmosphere for children to learn. The training is conducted in daily 1 to 1.5-hour sessions (Mon-Sat), ensuring students can maintain a rhythm of practice that leads to steady improvement.

Every student receives a welcome kit, including a course handbook, and completes the training with an end-of-camp assessment and a Certificate of Completion. We are constantly scouting for talent, and students who show potential may be guided toward advanced competitive training to help them pursue state-level or national-level events.

## About Eklavya Sports Shooting Academy

We are Team Eklavya, and we believe every young shooter has a champion inside them waiting to be discovered. Our goal is to bring world-class shooting standards to Namma Bengaluru, creating a supportive space where kids learn discipline, focus, and the real value of hard work.
