All our festival workshops provide the raw materials and guided instruction, so you and your child can create something meaningful together without worrying about the prep or the mess. Traditional festivals are more than just holidays at Eka Montessori. They are open-ended opportunities for hands-on learning. We host regular workshops where children learn the art of sculpting clay Ganesha idols, painting diyas, or arranging Golu dolls. By stepping away from store-bought, often toxic alternatives, we help children build a deeper connection with the environment and the cultural roots of these celebrations. ### Why our workshops differ: * **Experiential Focus:** Whether it is working on a manual potter's wheel to shape a diya or understanding the harvest during Makar Sankranti, we prioritize the process over the final product. * **Sustainability:** We use natural, non-toxic materials like organic clay and seeds. We teach children why it matters to keep our celebrations eco-friendly. * **Community Connection:** These sessions are often open to parents, making them true bonding opportunities. It is a space to learn, share, and give back. We are located in Kumarapark West and frequently host these seasonal sessions. If you are looking for meaningful ways to engage your child during the festive season, these sessions offer a perfect blend of tradition, skill-building, and joy. ## About Eka Montessori At Eka, we believe the child learns best when they are actively involved in the rhythm of our festivals. We aren't just holding classes; we are building a space where your child can get their hands muddy, feel the texture of clay, and understand the why behind every tradition.
