When you visit our Chhatarpur farm, you will notice the pace of life slows down immediately. Whether it is our resident cats roaming around or just the smell of the soil, it is the kind of place where you can actually switch off from the city noise and feel like a local. We started Amarkanan Farm with a simple goal: to help people in Delhi-NCR reconnect with the source of their food. What we have built is a living, breathing community that values the `mitti` (soil) and the joy of a slow, conscious lifestyle. ### Why Visitors Choose Us Our farm is not a typical manicured venue. It is a working organic space where we practice what we teach. As our visitors Cameron, Navya, and Sheena have noted, the magic here lies in the authenticity. There is no filter between you and the harvest. You walk the rows, you pick your own greens, and you see exactly how an organic farm operates in the middle of a bustling city. ### A Space for Everyone Whether you are joining a sourdough workshop, bringing your kids for a pizza-making session, or simply escaping the traffic for a Saturday afternoon brunch, you are entering a space meant for shared learning. Our farm-to-table dining events are particularly popular because they turn strangers into a community over a shared meal. We keep our groups intimate to ensure that everyone gets the space they need to explore, relax, and ask questions about urban farming methods. ### Practical Tips for Your Visit - **Wear comfortable clothes:** You will be walking in soil and might get messy during workshops. - **Ask questions:** Our team loves talking about bio-enzymes, microgreens, and composting, so feel free to pick our brains. - **Check the schedule:** We operate based on seasonal cycles and rotating workshops, so it is always a good idea to check our latest event calendar before planning your trip. ## About Edible Routes We are a team of green thumbs who believe you do not need a big backyard to connect with nature. At Amarkanan Farm, we have built a space where you can get your hands in the soil, learn how your food grows, and meet people who care about the earth just as much as you do.
