We assess your specific roof's load-bearing capacity and sunlight patterns before deciding on raised bed materials or irrigation setups, ensuring your plants thrive without harming the building's integrity. ### Making Your Rooftop Productive Most urban terraces in Delhi face the same challenges: extreme summer heat, limited water drainage, and soil weight restrictions. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all designs. Whether you have a small residential balcony or a large commercial rooftop, we analyze the microclimate to ensure success. ### The Edible Routes Way We start by looking at your space's orientation to the sun. A plant that loves the morning sun in Chhatarpur might wilt on a high-exposure terrace in Gurugram. Our setups utilize: * **Lightweight Media:** Custom blends of cocopeat and leaf mold that won't overload your slab. * **Drip Irrigation:** Automated systems that save water and time, essential for the local heat. * **Raised Beds:** Built from durable materials that withstand the seasons. ### Turning Spaces into Oases From our work at heritage properties like RAAS Devigarh to busy urban hubs like Select City Walk, we have seen how green spaces can drop ambient temperatures and purify local air. It is not just about growing lauki (bottle gourd) or bhindi (okra); it is about creating a living ecosystem. We teach you how to maintain it, or we can step in with our monthly maintenance services to handle the pruning, pest control, and seasonal crop rotation for you. ## About Edible Routes We are a team of urban farmers who believe your balcony has more potential than just a place to dry clothes. We help you connect with your food by turning dead concrete spaces into thriving, organic patches of life. Whether you want to grow a few herbs or supply your kitchen with seasonal veggies, we make it happen.
