Today, we turn discarded wrappers into durable benches and structures for public spaces across India. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This artistic yin-yang bench, made from 100 kg of plastic waste including 20,000 bottle caps, represents our core belief in creating balance and harmony by turning waste into something beautiful and useful for public spaces.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/310d6b2d-6145-4d72-8c49-eacbdd6569f9) - [Video: From colorful shredded plastic waste to durable, weather-proof sheets, this is a quick look at how we transform discarded materials into our signature recycled benches and furniture.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/ff5ad4c5-4e7f-444c-8dfd-23f1976b2556) - ![We were honored to build and install public changing rooms for women at the Maha Kumbh, a massive project where each unit was constructed entirely from recycled multi-layer packaging waste.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/e569be31-cb2d-453d-966c-ad48bd8ee563) - ![We are Sonal and Vaibhav, partners in business and life. We collect, shred, and press this material into heavy-duty sheets that handle everything from Shimla winters to high-traffic events. You are not just buying furniture; you are helping us divert thousands of kilos of waste from our ecosystem. Our process isn't just about manufacturing; it's about closing the loop. We focus on Multi-Layer Packaging (MLP)—the kind of difficult-to-recycle waste that often gets dumped. By cleaning and processing this, we create a terrazzo-style 'confetti' pattern that makes every piece unique. Whether it’s public changing rooms for the Maha Kumbh or durable seating for schools, our goal is clear: show that waste is actually a resource. ### Why it works - **Weatherproof:** Tested in harsh mountain conditions and heavy monsoons. - **Zero Maintenance:** No rust, no painting, no rotting. - **High Impact:** A single bench saves up to 100 kg of plastic from landfills. We are a small team with a big vision. We don't have corporate overhead, but we do have a dedicated process that ensures every piece of plastic we collect has a new life. If you have a space that needs a green makeover, let’s talk. ## About Econscious We are Sonal and Vaibhav, and Econscious is our daily grind.
