For our children, the city is a classroom. We trade four walls for open skies and sidewalks for park trails, finding science and poetry in every tree we climb and every leaf we touch.

## About City Explorers: Discovering Bangalore's Green Spaces

When we head out for our nature walks, there is no rigid curriculum. A child might be blindfolded to feel the texture of ancient bark in Cubbon Park, or collecting fallen leaves to understand the cycle of life. It is about slowing down enough to notice the tiny fungi in the grass or the way a sprout breaks through the soil, turning a simple Tuesday afternoon into a profound lesson on the world right outside our front door.

Our urban nature programs turn Bengaluru’s public parks into living laboratories for young minds. We move beyond textbooks, encouraging children to build their own connections through sensory exploration.

### What we observe
* **Sensory Discovery:** Children learn to identify trees by touch while blindfolded or record observations in nature journals during our 'Tree Loving Tuesday' sessions.
* **Peer-to-Peer Learning:** We see older children guiding younger ones, sharing knowledge about leaves and insects they have discovered.
* **Scientific Inquiry:** Physics becomes real when they test the balance of a seesaw, and biology comes alive when they examine fungi or sprout seeds found in the park.

### Practical details
Our Urban Conservation Workshops (₹1200–₹1800 per session) are intimate, 2-3 hour explorations led by school faculty and naturalists. We provide all necessary materials—from magnifying loupes to nature journals—and ensure every session includes a contribution to animal welfare NGOs. Whether it is a morning in Cubbon Park or a local biodiversity study, the goal is simple: helping children see themselves as stewards of the natural world.
