Whether you are here to learn wheel throwing or want to try hand building, the goal is to leave the noise of the city behind for a few hours of focused, tactile creation. Life in Delhi moves fast, but the potter’s wheel requires you to slow down. My rooftop studio in Pitampura is designed specifically for this transition. We offer more than just a class; we offer a space to reset. In our sessions, you are not just watching a demo; you are getting your hands fully involved. We cover the basics of stoneware clay, showing you how to center the clay, pull up walls, and manipulate the form. If the wheel feels intimidating, hand building offers a different kind of freedom, allowing you to sculpt plates, planters, or mugs at your own pace. ### Why Pottery Works Engaging in meditative art like pottery helps break the cycle of digital fatigue. It is a sensory experience that grounds you in the present moment. Many participants find that the simple act of preparing and molding clay acts as a natural stress reliever, regardless of whether you have an artistic background. ### Firing and Keepsakes For those interested in taking their work home, we offer post-processing, including bisque and glaze firing. This service turns your raw creation into food-safe, permanent ceramic ware.
