In our sessions, you learn that 'waste' is just pigment waiting to be used. I walk you through the chemistry behind it, like why mordants matter, so you are not just following a recipe, but understanding the craft of sustainable living. Nature is the best artist, and I am just a student learning to capture its beauty. Whether you are a complete beginner or an artist looking to switch to sustainable practices, these sessions are designed to help you reconnect with the environment. **What you will learn:** * **Ayurvastra:** An ancient science of using medicinal herbs to dye fabrics. It is not just about color; it is about creating textiles that are antibacterial and gentle on the skin, perfect for baby clothes or pillowcases. * **Eco-Printing:** We use botanicals—marigolds, basil leaves, and flower petals—to transfer permanent shapes onto fabric. It is like pressing a memory directly into the cloth. * **Kitchen Inks:** Do not toss your beetroot stems or spinach ends. We turn them into non-toxic watercolors and inks that are completely safe, even for painting with kids. * **Indigo:** We demystify the indigo vat. It is a bit tricky, but with the right pH balance and dipping techniques, you will master the art of the perfect blue. These are not dry lectures. Most of our work happens live on Zoom, where I show you the messy, fun parts of the process. I want you to make mistakes, fix them, and understand the 'why' behind the color.
