I spend a lot of time on hydration, using ice globes to calm the skin before I apply anything. Whether I’m working with textured, acne-prone, or deep skin tones, I use specific layering techniques to ensure your base looks like real skin, not a heavy layer of product. Most people focus on the final look, but the magic really happens before a single drop of foundation touches your skin. If you’ve wondered how I get that glow that stays fresh all day, it’s all in the prep. ### My Skin-First Approach I always start with deep hydration, often using ice globes to depuff and calm the skin. This isn't just a trend; it's a necessity for long shoot days or marathon wedding events. When your skin is properly hydrated, we don’t need as much product to achieve a flawless look. ### Handling Texture and Tone Whether you are dealing with acne-prone skin, vitiligo, or just a bit of uneven texture, the approach remains the same: gentle application. For my dusky and deep-toned clients, the key is precise color matching to avoid that grey cast. I layer products in a way that respects your natural undertones rather than masking them. ### The 'No-Filter' Promise You’ll notice my process videos are raw. I don't use ring lights to blow out your features or filters to smooth them. When we work together, we are creating a look that needs to hold up under harsh studio lights or candid mobile phone photos.
