When I coach my tigers for a tournament, we move past basic forms to focus on ring management, reading an opponent’s guard, and handling the pressure of a referee’s whistle. It is intense, but that is exactly how we build champions. ### Competition is Where Discipline Meets Action At Delhi Tigers, we believe training without a goal is just exercise. My students train with a clear objective—to perform under pressure and represent the academy with honor at state and national ITF Taekwondo championships. #### Our Competitive Edge We focus heavily on the two pillars of ITF competition: * **Sparring (Matsogi):** It isn't just about throwing kicks. We drill footwork, distancing, and reaction timing. You learn to stay calm like a mountain while controlling the flow of the match. * **Patterns (Tul):** This is where technique is tested. I am strict about form because judges look for precision. As I always tell my students, "Haath seedha rakh"—sloppy form doesn't cut it when you are aiming for gold. #### Proven Results Results are not an accident. At the 37th National Taekwon-do ITF Championship, our team of just 11 participants secured an impressive haul of 8 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
