You are not just playing; you are being evaluated by our senior coaches on every shot, every delivery, and every tactical decision you make in the middle. ### Why Your Net Practice Isn't Enough You can hit a thousand balls in the nets, but the game is played on 22 yards under pressure. We see too many talented kids get stuck in the cycle of endless net sessions, only to crumble when they step into a real game. That is why we moved the focus from nets to competitive weekly match play. ### What Happens on Match Day When you join our weekend matches, you get the full experience: * **Turf Wickets:** We play on prepared surfaces, specifically at grounds like Rajaji Cricket Ground 2, to give you the authentic feel of the ball. * **Real Opposition:** No internal practice sessions where you know every bowler. We schedule games against structured teams so you face new challenges every weekend. * **Coaching Oversight:** Our coaches do not sit in the dugout. They are on the boundary, watching your footwork and reading your game. You get feedback the moment you walk off the pitch. * **Data-Driven:** Every match is scored digitally on CricHeroes. You get to see your strike rate, average, and performance stats—the same data selectors look at when scouting for leagues. ### Built for Serious Players This is not a hobby setup. It is a preparation ground for state-level leagues and tournament cricket. If you want to move from being a 'nets player' to a 'match player', come and prove it on the pitch this weekend. ## About DSL Cricket Academy We are a group of coaches who got tired of seeing talented kids get lost in overcrowded academies. We do not chase big names or fancy marketing. We just focus on giving you a good environment and real, high-pressure match practice.
