Mostly, I paint what I feel, what I remember from home. My village, people made everything from bamboo and palm leaves - now, that craft’s nearly gone. I learned art at Sir J.J. School but my heart’s with those old woven shapes. My work tries to keep those memories alive, and talks about how we all keep struggling inside, just like our ancestors did.
