I prioritize clean, high-contrast silhouettes for fitness areas to maintain a sense of movement and energy, whereas for meditation zones, I utilize calming, geometric patterns that minimize visual distraction and support focus. Every space possesses an inherent energy, and thematic interior art serves to amplify that atmosphere. Whether it is a yoga studio requiring a serene, meditative backdrop or a stadium demanding the raw intensity of athletic motion, my approach to mural design is research-oriented. I begin by analyzing the function of the room. A yoga studio benefits from balance and symmetry, which is why I often incorporate mandala-inspired geometry or bamboo-weaving motifs that reflect tradition and organic rhythm. Conversely, sports facilities and gyms are spaces of action. Here, I create dynamic, large-scale silhouettes that capture the fluidity of athletic performance. My background in fine arts informs my use of color and composition, ensuring the art is not merely decorative but structural. For interior projects, I exclusively use high-grade acrylics that offer longevity and vibrant pigment retention, capable of withstanding the wear of high-traffic commercial environments. I focus on creating pieces that interact with the architecture, rather than simply covering the wall. If your space is in Mumbai, Odisha, or anywhere across India, I am prepared to travel and conduct a site visit to understand your interior layout, lighting, and brand identity before finalizing the concept. This ensures that the final artwork complements the environment rather than competing with it. ## About Pratap Badtya I am Pratap. My art is rooted in my tribal heritage and formal training at Sir J.J. School of Art, where I learned to bridge the gap between ancient craftsmanship and contemporary interior design. I view every wall as a blank canvas waiting to tell a story that resonates with the people using the space.
