It has been a wild, wonderful, and hectic road. From performing at Shankar Mutt to being recognized by the Sree Ramaseva Mandali during their Ramanavami celebrations in Chamarajpet, every felicitation feels like a celebration of our shared heritage, not just a personal achievement. ### Why Tradition Matters in Teaching When I started the Tarangini Arts Foundation, my goal was to create a space where the depth of Carnatic music could be taught properly. I bring these real-world experiences—the stage craft, the sound checks, and the collaboration with fellow musicians—directly into our classroom. My students often ask me why I emphasize the 'why' behind every composition, like the Kritis of Muttuswamy Dikshitar. It is because music is a living language. When we study theory or practice Manodharma, we are keeping this lineage alive.
