You will work extensively with specialized reaction frames to train your eyes and hands for real-game scenarios, rather than just repetitive drills. Whether it is perfecting your glovework or sharpening slip-catching reflexes, every session is designed to make you a dependable guardian behind the stumps. At Dronacharya Cricket Academy, we view fielding as an art form. My father, Padma Shri and Dronacharya Awardee Shri Gurcharan Singh, always taught us that a missed catch can be the difference between winning and losing. We apply this philosophy to every session we conduct across our Delhi NCR locations, including Vivek Vihar and Greater Noida. ### Building Match-Winning Reflexes We do not believe in generic drills. Our training relies on specialized equipment like reaction frames that force keepers to adjust their body weight and hand placement in milliseconds. We simulate match intensity, ensuring that when you face a 140kmph delivery or a sharp edge in a DDCA league match, your response is instinctual. ### Our Training Focus: * **Agility & Footwork:** Wicket-keeping is as much about the legs as it is about the hands. We incorporate ladder drills and cone work to ensure you are balanced and ready to dive or stretch at a moment's notice. * **Slip Catching Precision:** We train keepers to anticipate the trajectory of the ball, focusing on a stable base and soft hands to hold onto the toughest edges. * **Modern Technique:** While our values are traditional, we integrate modern sports science. This includes analyzing your collection technique through video feedback, helping you identify subtle flaws in your setup that might cost you vital split seconds. We welcome everyone from young aspirants to seasoned players looking to refine their skills. As we often say, 'Train your mind like your body.' If you are ready to put in the hard work and discipline required, we are here to guide you. ## About Dronacharya Cricket Academy We carry forward the vision of my father, Shri Gurcharan Singh, by ensuring every student understands that cricket is a discipline. Whether you are aiming for DDCA leagues or just starting out, we focus on the raw technique that makes a complete cricketer.
