You will see icons like Ajay Jadeja or international coaches such as Charlie Hobden on the ground, correcting a grip or demonstrating a pull shot in real-time. This is direct access to the minds that have shaped the game, integrated into your daily training regimen rather than just a one-off seminar. ### The Guru-Shishya Tradition in Modern Cricket Our philosophy is simple: cricket is a discipline passed from master to student. At Dronacharya Cricket Academy, we preserve this lineage. Whether it is legendary cricketer Ajay Jadeja visiting to share insights or former Indian selector Ajay Ratra observing technique, our players learn directly from those who have navigated the pressures of the international arena. ### Global Technical Standards Mentorship is not just about advice; it is about technical evolution. When coaches like Charlie Hobden (ECB Level 2) join our staff, they bring the latest coaching methodologies from abroad. They focus on specific technical aspects, such as generating power from the back leg or handling short-pitched deliveries under high-speed conditions. This ensures our students are not just playing cricket; they are understanding the physics and strategy behind every shot. ### Why Mentorship Matters - **Direct Pathways:** Through our mentorship programs, players get exposure to the reality of competitive selection. Ajay Ratra’s involvement, for instance, provides a bridge to understanding what selectors look for at the highest levels. - **Data-Backed Growth:** We combine this traditional mentorship with modern tools. Our mentors use AI-powered analysis to show you exactly where your biomechanics need adjustment, complementing the wisdom shared during net sessions. - **Real-Match Readiness:** We do not believe in safe drills. Our mentorship includes real match simulations and competitive trials with our affiliate DDCA clubs, Delhi Blues and Neo Sports, ensuring you are tested in environments that mirror professional circuits. This is a rigorous environment designed for players who are ready to commit to the path of a professional cricketer. ## About Dronacharya Cricket Academy We are the home of the Dronacharya legacy. I carry forward what my father, Shri Gurcharan Singh, started—a commitment to discipline and technical perfection that goes far beyond the scorecard. Our doors are open to those who treat cricket as a way of life, not just a hobby.
