For me, this recognition from WeddingSutra for my couple portraits is actually about trust. It means the couples I work with—like the ones you see in these frames—felt comfortable enough to be their real selves. When you aren't focused on posing, that is when the magic happens, and that is exactly what the jury saw. Photography is often about what you can see, but the moments that win awards are usually about what you can feel. When I shoot a couple, I am looking for the space between the big gestures. It might be a quiet glance during a hectic Haldi ceremony or a shared laugh while surrounded by family. My approach with Dreamcatchers Photography is built on this foundation: keep it real, keep it candid, and let the emotion drive the frame. Getting recognized by the WeddingSutra Photography Awards for 'Couple Portraits/Candids' was a huge milestone for us. It validates the long hours we spend waiting for that perfect second when the light hits just right and the guard comes down. It confirms that the 'no-posing' philosophy is what modern couples really want. Whether we are shooting in a Mumbai studio, a palace in Udaipur, or on a beach in Goa, the goal remains the same. We do not direct you into stiff, uncomfortable poses. Instead, we create an environment where you can actually enjoy your own wedding. If you are looking for a photography team that understands the rhythm of an Indian wedding—from the chaotic energy of the baraat to the stillness of an Anand Karaj—you have found the right place. We capture the story, not just the event. ## About Dreamcatchers Photography I'm Punit, and I started Dreamcatchers back in 2015 because I couldn't stand the idea of staged wedding photos. I prefer the messy, beautiful reality of your day. If you want someone to capture the real you, I am ready.
