When it's really bad, I do a full shave to get rid of all the bugs and start treating the skin underneath. This tick and flea grooming treatment helps your dog finally get some peace. ### Double-Coated Breeds - Important Note I never shave double-coated breeds (like Huskies and Goldens) unless there's literally no other choice for their health. Only if it's a medical emergency, like a crazy tick problem, will I go for a full shave.
