Whether it's a Spiderman tunnel cake or a Janmashtami matki, these aren't just desserts; they are props that need to handle being pulled, smashed, or lit up. Let me know your theme early so I can figure out the mechanics while you focus on the guest list. Novelty cakes are my way of turning a party into an activity. People used to just cut a slice and eat it, but now? We are pulling out hidden messages, smashing pinatas, and taking photos with 2D-style comic cakes. I love the challenge of these. My comic cakes use fondant for that crisp 2D look, while my pull-out cakes, like the Spiderman tunnel design, require some engineering inside the sponge to ensure everything works smoothly. If you are looking for a smash cake, like the matki design I did for Janmashtami, just tell me if you want it filled with chocolates or a mini cake inside. Everything at Dolce is 100% eggless, and I work out of my studio in Laxmi Nagar, delivering across Delhi NCR. If you saw a trending design on Pinterest or Instagram—whether it is a burning cake for New Year's or a peel-off design for Valentine's—send me the screenshot. Let's see if we can recreate it in a way that is just as tasty as it is fun. I treat every cake like I'm making it for my own family, so expect plenty of love (and maybe a few WhatsApp updates from me while I'm baking). ## About Dolce by Akshika Hi, I'm Akshika! I’ve been baking for 8 years, and these interactive cakes are my current obsession because I love seeing the look on people's faces when the magic happens. Being a mom to Ivaan means I’m always looking for fun, so I put that same creative energy into every pull-out or smash cake that leaves my studio.
