I do not just put up drapes; I incorporate interactive elements like custom ubtan stations or audio guestbooks that actually get your guests laughing and talking, rather than just standing around a backdrop for photos. A Haldi ceremony is often the first moment where the wedding stress melts away. It is the beginning of the celebrations, and that is why I treat it with so much care. My approach to Haldi styling is less about traditional, heavy-set structures and more about creating a flow that invites joy. I draw heavy inspiration from nature. Whether it is a lush greenhouse setting in Mussoorie or a serene riverside spot in Rishikesh, I believe the venue should be an extension of the decor. We use organic structures, rattan furniture, and vibrant floral arrangements in citrus shades like marigold orange, sunset pink, and sunshine yellow to create a setting that feels breathable and bright. What I include in your setup: * **Textural Details:** I layer cushions, woven baskets, and rustic ceramics to make the space feel cozy. * **Interactive Decor:** My favorite setups include elements that guests actually touch, like vintage bicycles styled with blooms or custom stations for ubtan. * **Thoughtful Lighting:** Even for day events, the placement of your furniture relative to the sun is crucial for those candid shots. If you want your Haldi to feel like a personal gathering rather than a production, let’s talk about how to weave your story into the colors and textures of your day. ## About Do It Up I am Taral, the founder of Do It Up.
