My agility and protection programs do not just drain energy, they teach your dog how to switch focus on command, transforming that chaotic drive into structured confidence. Many owners assume agility is just about clearing hurdles or that protection training makes a dog mean. The reality is quite the opposite. An intelligent, high-drive dog like a Belgian Malinois or a German Shepherd needs a job to stay sane. If you do not give them one, they will invent their own, usually barking at passing cars, chewing furniture, or becoming reactive on walks. In my Kengeri facility, we do not just run obstacle courses. We use agility to sharpen your dog's mental clarity and physical obedience. When a dog learns to navigate a tunnel or scale a wall under your direction, they are learning to listen to you amidst distractions. Regarding protection, I focus on control and psychological stability. A true protection dog is not a guard dog that bites out of fear; it is a focused companion that understands when to engage and, more importantly, when to stop. We work on impulse control, desensitization to triggers, and, crucially, your authority as the handler. This program is not for every pet; it is for owners who are ready to put in the work alongside their dogs to manage high-energy breeds correctly. If you are struggling with a dog that seems too much to handle, we need to talk about whether your dog is bored or simply lacks leadership. ## About Dog Guru They call me Dog Guru, but it is the dogs who teach me.
