It isn't. When a dog comes to my Kengeri school for behavioral rehabilitation, the transformation is not magic—it is a result of unlearning past habits. Whether it is a Belgian Malinois with severe guarding instincts or a Labrador struggling with leash aggression, we do not just suppress the behavior. We remove the underlying stressor, re-establish the hierarchy, and coach you on how to maintain that authority once your dog returns home. ### Beyond the Training Drills Many pet parents come to me after trying trainers who just taught their dog to 'sit' or 'stay' while they were distracted. My approach is different. I am a *Shwana Manovaitajnya* (dog psychologist), and I look for the root cause—usually fear or a lack of respect—not just the symptoms. ### How We Achieve Real Results When your dog enters my residential program, they are not just getting commands. They are getting a reset. * **Root Cause Analysis:** We identify if the aggression is learned fear, experienced fear, or associated fear. * **Socialization:** We use pack time to teach dogs how to read signals from other dogs, which is essential for reducing reactivity on walks. * **Owner Coaching:** This is the most critical part. As I tell owners, *Nimma driver diesel haakiskondu bandre nimma car odisokke baralla* (If your driver fills diesel, you won't learn to drive). I teach you the leadership skills you need to sustain the progress we make. ### Common Transformations We See * **Aggression to Calm:** We work with dogs that have bitten, guarded resources, or reacted aggressively to strangers. We teach them to manage their impulses rather than lashing out. * **Anxiety & Obedience:** From separation anxiety to hyper-activity on the leash, we build focus. A dog that listens to your commands is a dog that feels secure in your leadership. If you are ready to stop managing your dog's bad behavior and start living with a calm companion, let's talk. We work with all breeds and all ages at our Kengeri facility. ## About Dog Guru People call me Dog Guru, but I am just a student of canine behavior.
