I spend the entire set on the mic, reading the crowd to know exactly when to switch from a heavy Afro-Tech drop to an iconic Bollywood sing-along. You get a technical setup tailored for festival-scale sound, and I make sure the energy stays high from the first beat until the house lights come up. My approach to college fests goes beyond playing a generic playlist. I build sets as boiler room sessions, keeping them raw, unfiltered, and deeply connected to the student crowd. Whether it is an annual engineering fest or a university cultural night, I bring my own professional Pioneer DJ gear and custom LED motion graphics to ensure the visuals hit as hard as the bass. I specialize in blending 90s nostalgia with modern tech beats, creating a soundscape that resonates with everyone, not just the EDM fans. I have navigated everything from open-air grounds to enclosed auditorium stages, coordinating directly with your sound and light vendors to ensure the bass response is perfect. If you need special entry edits for your fest headliners or want a seamless mix of commercial hits and deep underground tracks, I handle the curation personally. My 18 years in the industry have taught me one thing, the moment you lose the crowd, the party dies. I ensure that never happens by constantly interacting, hyping, and adjusting the tempo to keep the energy locked in. Let us create a set that students will still be talking about next semester. ## About DJ Yamraj I am Yamraj, and my console is where the party resurrection happens. I live for that moment when the bass hits and the entire student crowd loses it together. Book me if you want a DJ who acts as a performer, not just a track-player.
