I spend my week producing exclusive edits and mashups that blend genres like Afro-tech, Bollywood, and Kannada folk specifically to trigger a reaction. When you hear that transition between a classic Kannada track and a global bass beat, you will know exactly why I spend my time in the studio mixing instead of just curating. I build these tracks because a static song rarely works in a live party environment. My process involves re-engineering beats, blending unexpected tempos, and syncing visuals so the energy never dips. Whether I am mashing up a Chandan Shetty hit with a global chart-topper or giving 90s Bollywood tracks a heavy modern drum line, the goal is simple: make the dance floor move. ### Why Custom Matters - **Exclusive Sound:** You will not hear these edits on Spotify or anyone else's set. They are built for the club and event environment. - **Technical Precision:** I use professional software like Serato and Rekordbox to ensure perfect beat-matching and sound quality that hits hard on big sound systems. - **Crowd Connection:** By reading the vibe, I can drop a mashup that bridges the gap between different musical tastes, making sure the aunties and the college crowd are both on the floor. ### My Approach to Mashups I do not just slap two songs together. I focus on key compatibility, energy spikes, and cultural relevance. If I am spinning for a Bangalore wedding, you are going to hear those Kannada bangers mixed with current global hits. If it is a high-energy club night, expect harder percussions and bass-heavy Afro-tech. I treat every remix as a piece of production work, ensuring the transitions are seamless and the drops are massive. If you are tired of hearing the same top 40 lists at every event, this is the difference I bring to the booth. ## About Vic I am Vic, a Bangalore-based DJ and producer who believes a party is only as good as the energy on the floor. I do not believe in generic playlists, so I spend my time in the studio crafting exclusive mashups and edits that you will not hear anywhere else.
