When I work with a live instrumentalist, we align the setlist to the specific tempo of your event. If you want a deep house sound with a live sitar lead, the tracks are chosen specifically for that harmonic blend so it sounds cohesive, not cluttered. ### Why Fusion Changes the Vibe Electronic music can feel cold on its own, especially at a brunch or a sundowner. Adding a live instrument changes that dynamic completely. A saxophone adds a jazzy, upbeat layer which works perfectly when guests are mingling. A sitar brings an ethnic, luxurious feel to sunset sessions, while a guitar offers a relaxed, acoustic-led lounge set for private dinners or birthdays. ### How We Build Your Set My approach is straightforward because I want the music to be the main focus: * **Saxophone:** I handle the deep house tracks while the saxophonist roams the floor, adding live, melodic solos. It is a proven winner for daytime events in locations like Goa or Mumbai. * **Sitar:** This is for a slower, more intentional mood. It is a seated, elegant performance that fits well with upscale sundowners where the focus is on the setting and the music. * **Guitar:** Ideal for a lighter, melodic background vibe during daytime celebrations. ### Technical Requirements I bring my console and manage the mixing. Since this involves live instruments, the venue or client must provide the sound system (PA, sub-woofers, and monitors) and a stable power source. If you are hosting a destination wedding in Jaipur or Udaipur, I coordinate with the local technical team beforehand to ensure the audio levels are balanced, so you get a clean, crisp sound without any feedback issues. ## About DJ Sandy I have been behind the console for 18 years and know exactly how to read a crowd. When I add a live musician to the mix, it is about boosting the energy without losing the rhythm that keeps the party moving.
