## About Chilled Sundowners & Mehndi Brunches

Many people treat daytime sets like background noise, but that is a mistake. I treat a Mehndi brunch with the same technical focus as a main stage set, managing volume levels carefully so your guests can talk while the bass still hits. Whether it is a garden setting in Jaipur or a beach in Goa, I adjust my output to ensure the music complements the sun without overpowering the venue.

Daytime sets are where I get to really play with my record collection. Unlike the high-bpm demands of a Sangeet, a Mehndi brunch or a beach sundowner is about 'thoda chill, thoda groove.' I focus on organic house, tropical beats, and soulful fusion tracks that match the daylight.

### The Technical Side
Even in an outdoor, relaxed environment, the technical setup matters. I use the same Pioneer CDJ 3000s that I use for my club gigs, ensuring that the sound is crisp. I don't run pre-recorded playlists. I read the crowd in real time, shifting the vibe if the sun gets too hot or if the guests decide to pick up the pace and dance. If you have guests who want to jump on the decks or participate, I manage the transition so it stays seamless.

### Why Daytime Needs a Pro
- **Volume Control:** I keep the levels professional. Your guests should feel the music, not shout over it.
- **Adaptable Sound:** I specialize in Sufi-House, deep house, and classic groovy hits that work for all age groups, from nani to college friends.
- **Equipment Handling:** Whether we are on a sand dune or a resort lawn, I coordinate the technical rider so the music never cuts out.

I have played in locations ranging from beach shacks in Vietnam to palace courtyards in Rajasthan. I know how to adapt to the logistics of any destination, ensuring your daytime event feels polished, not just like a loud speaker in a corner.

## About DJ Sandy

I have spent 18 years behind the console, and the daytime sets are where I get to play my favorite records. I do not believe in pre-set playlists, so I watch your crowd and adjust the tempo to keep the energy exactly where it needs to be.
