This is how we take a standard DJ set and turn it into a full-blown concert experience. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This is not just music, it's a live experience. When I drop a bassline, my percussionist hits the rhythm at the exact same millisecond. We don’t just wing it; we run through your event timeline before the day starts so the transition between my console and their live performance is seamless, not awkward. A standard set is great, but a collaboration is a level up. I work with drummers, dhol players, and vocalists to create a 'jugalbandi' that bridges the gap between digital precision and live emotion. It brings a visual and sonic element that keeps the crowd hooked because it’s happening right in front of them, not just coming from the speakers. ### Why it works for weddings Whether it’s a high-energy Sangeet or a late-night after-party, mixing digital tracks with live instrumentation gives you the best of both worlds. You get the polish of professional mixing with the raw, organic energy of a live musician. ### What to expect * **Percussion Fusion:** I pair my Afro-house or Techno sets with djembe or dhol rhythms. The constant beat keeps the energy high, and the live drums make people want to move. * **Vocal Magic:** I often collaborate with Sufi and Bollywood singers. They can jump into a track, freestyle, and build a connection with the crowd that I can’t do alone while I’m mixing. * **Planning:** This isn't a random jam session. I coordinate with my team and the venue AV crew to ensure the sound levels are balanced. You aren't paying for extra noise; you’re paying for a performance that hits harder. If you want your Sangeet or reception to feel less like a playlist and more like a live show, this is the way to go. Just let me know which functions you want to spice up, and we can plan the lineup. ## About Rahul Walia I’m Rahul. I don't just stand behind a console; I feed off the room. My favourite nights are the ones where I’m jamming with a dhol player or a vocalist, pushing the energy until the very last song of the night.
