Whether it is a 5-hour cocktail marathon or a sunrise set, I build the energy by reading the room's mood in real-time. I bridge the gap between retro nostalgia and modern bangers, ensuring even the most reserved guests eventually hit the floor. ### The Art of the Mix Being a DJ for private events is not just about having a great playlist. It is about the flow. I specialize in reading the crowd, spotting that moment when energy dips, and instantly turning it around with a seamless transition. My sets are open format, meaning I blend genres constantly. One minute, I might be dropping a classic Bollywood track that brings back childhood memories, and the next, I am mixing it into a hard-hitting Punjabi beat that gets everyone jumping. ### Why I Love What I Do I treat every gig as a fresh story. From high-profile celebrity birthday parties to intimate destination weddings in places like Jaipur or international spots like Cannes and Bahrain, the core goal stays the same: I want to see the dance floor absolutely packed. I bring my own technical standards to the table, using industry-standard Pioneer gear to ensure the sound quality is crisp, whether we are in a massive ballroom or an outdoor venue. ### Event Versatility My experience spans various settings, so I know how to adapt my approach. * **Cocktail Parties:** I focus on setting the right tone, blending retro hits and soulful tracks to get the conversation flowing before picking up the tempo. * **Wedding Sangeets & After-parties:** This is where the 'Desi Tadka' comes in. I go heavy on the energetic Bollywood and Punjabi tracks, adding live percussion if requested to amplify the bass and visual impact. * **Corporate & Brand Events:** I keep it professional but high-energy, ensuring the music engages everyone from the leadership team to the staff. If you want a DJ who understands the rhythm of your event and knows how to manage energy levels from start to finish, let's talk. ## About Prasad Nagotkar I am Prasad, and if there is a beat, I am behind it.
