When you book me, you are getting live MC work and custom edits—like my Bolly-Afro mashups—that you will not hear on any standard playlist. I read the floor in real-time, switching from high-BPM Punjabi tracks to underground Tech House based on how the crowd is moving, not a pre-planned setlist. ### My Approach to the Floor My club experience is not just about playing music; it is about controlling the energy. Whether I am headlining at a spot like SOHO in Goa or warming up the stage for an international artist in Kolkata, my goal stays the same: zero empty dance floors. ### Why My Sound is Different I do not rely on generic mixes. I build 'Bolly Afro Tales,' my signature series where I blend the heavy percussion of Afro House with classic Bollywood and Punjabi hits. It is a sound designed for high-energy environments, and it works just as well for a wedding afterparty as it does for a Saturday night club gig. ### Technical Setup I come with my own library of custom edits and WAV-quality tracks. If the venue has LED walls, I can sync my 'DJ Japs' branding visuals to the beat, giving your stage a concert-level feel. For private events requiring that club-style vibe, I ensure my gear requirements—like CDJ 2000s—are handled so the sound quality remains crisp and punchy. ### Reading the Room A great DJ knows when to drop the BPM and when to ramp it up. I am constantly on the mic, hyping up the crowd, and interacting with the room. If the energy dips, I know exactly which track to drop to pull everyone back. It is not just music; it is an experience. ## About DJ Japs I am Japji, but the floor knows me as DJ Japs. My world is music, gym, and travel, and I bring that exact intensity to your event. When I am behind the decks, I am focused on one thing—making you and your guests jump until the music stops.
