Whether I am transitioning between deep house and high-energy Bollywood, the reliability of this console means I never have to worry about audio glitches or lag when the dance floor is packed. ### The Tech Behind the Vibe People often ask what makes a set feel different. It starts with the hardware. When I perform at venues like The Bombay Cartel, I need gear that responds instantly. The waveforms on the screen aren't just for show; I use them to analyze tracks in real-time, matching beats and layering effects so the music never stops. ### Why Gear Matters for Your Party When you hire a DJ, you are paying for more than just a playlist. You are paying for the technical ability to read the room. If I am spinning a sundowner set, I shift to deep house to keep things chill, but I need a console that lets me switch to high-BPM Bollywood in a heartbeat if the crowd asks for it. I bring my own professional controller for private events and ensure that whatever PA system we use is balanced properly. I don't believe in copy-paste sets. Every venue in Mumbai—or any destination wedding I travel to—has different acoustics. I spend time prepping my gear and testing the levels before the first guest arrives, ensuring the bass hits right and the vocals stay crisp throughout the night. Whether it is a beachside gig in Goa or a wedding in Jaipur, the goal remains the same: Maza aana chahiye. You handle the fun, and I will handle the music. ## About Henry Fernandes I am Henry, and for me, the console is my happy place. I love geeking out over gear as much as I love watching a dance floor go wild, because the perfect mix is what brings it all together.
