# DJ Dwell

I'm an open-format turntablist, always digging for new tunes and blending styles from UKG and Bass to old skool Hip Hop. My sets are about freestyle mixing and keeping the energy high.

- [Video: This is what it's all about for me, just chilling and messing with the classics. I love digging into tracks like this one from Guru and finding new ways to flip them with some beat juggling. It’s this hands on approach that makes every set unique.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/17c1ee7f-8440-4f21-8665-dba881915389)

## Meet your expert

### My story

Yo, I’m DJ Dwell. Bangalore is home turf, and hip hop here taught me everything. I’m not into sticking to one vibe—mixing genres is my thing. Open-format turntablism, that’s my playground. Big shoutout to #bangaloremassive, those gigs are wild. Sometimes I’m warming up for legends, other times just spinning my fav tracks with the crew. It’s always fresh, never the same twice. Honoured every time I hit the decks.

### My work

- **What I Play**: Hip Hop, Old Skool, R&B, Funk, Disco, House, Bass, Drum & Bass, UKG, Grime, Breaks, experimental stuff.
- **My Style**: Freestyle open-format turntablism—always mixing up genres, old skool hip hop DJ vibes, never basic.
- **The Vibe**: Sets are energetic, digging for new tracks, playing 90’s hip hop, club night DJ Bangalore, warm-up or closing.
- **Collabs & B2B**: Love b2b DJ sets and collaborating with rappers, making each event a unique experience.
