I sync original, classic Bollywood music videos live on screen while I mix the audio, turning the venue into a time machine. The night always wraps with a high-energy tradition, but you will have to be on the dance floor to experience that specific closing track. Chitrahaar Sundays at Radio Bar in Khar was not just a gig, it started a movement. When I set out to create this, I wanted to bridge the gap between just listening to music and actually feeling the era. That is why I brought the concept of live VJing to these sets. When you see the original visuals from 80s and 90s cinema synced with the beat, the nostalgia hits differently. It is not just a playlist. Whether we are diving into R.D. Burman’s compositions or iconic dance numbers, the visuals keep the energy locked in. I have been lucky to host stars like Varun Dhawan and Rohit Saraf on this very dance floor, but the real heart of the night is always the crowd. We have turned Sunday nights in Mumbai into a weekly celebration of the golden era of Bollywood. If you are looking to bring this vibe to your own event, whether it is a sangeet or a themed club night, I bring the exact same setup: the audio-visual sync, the retro energy, and that specific, infectious rhythm that keeps people on their feet for four hours straight. ## About Bobby K Music is everything to me, and R.D. Burman is my biggest inspiration. I do not just spin tracks, I aim to capture the soul of the golden era and bring it to life on the dance floor. It is all about the vibe, the crowd, and making sure everyone leaves with a smile.
