We focus on 'soft connection' techniques, like learning to lead without tension, which transforms how you feel on the dance floor. Whether you are preparing for a social night or just want to get your Mambo footwork right, I focus on the rhythm first so you can relax and really dance with your partner. ### The Mambo & Salsa Foundation I believe that music and dancing are inseparable. In my classes, we don't just drill movements, we break down the music. You will learn to identify the Clave, Cowbell, and Guiro, helping you move with the instruments rather than just counting beats. This musicality training is a cornerstone of my sessions, ensuring you feel confident in any social setting. ### Partnerwork & Connection My partnerwork drills focus on smooth, tension-free communication between leaders and followers. I often use creative exercises, like the 'toilet paper challenge,' to help students understand how to keep their movements gentle and precise. We work on slot maintenance, spin preps, and proper posture so that your connection feels light and intuitive. ### What to Expect Whether you are a beginner looking to find your footing or an experienced dancer wanting to refine your Mambo Funk shines, there is a place for you. * **Weekly Sessions:** Ideal for consistency, these Sunday classes at RDX Studio in Thane West focus on progressive learning. * **Drop-in Access:** Busy schedule? You can join single sessions to get a taste of the training without a long-term commitment. * **Bootcamps:** If you want to dive deep, my intensive workshops cover Afro-Cuban body movement and advanced styling in a high-energy environment. I keep the atmosphere fun and supportive, with plenty of direct feedback during rotations. My goal is to make sure you walk out of the studio with more confidence, a better connection, and a deeper love for the music. ## About DJ Jude I am DJ Jude, and for me, dancing is not just about steps.
