The real skill is reading the room's energy without being intrusive. I know how to handle high-profile guests who want to let their hair down, ensuring the music complements the moment rather than overwhelming it. Whether it is a private Diwali bash or a high-end sangeet, I keep the playlist tight, adaptive, and always respectful of the guest list's mood. ### Handling the Spotlight Playing for celebrities and industry stalwarts requires a different approach than a standard club gig. It is not about me being the center of attention. It is about understanding the energy of the room and keeping the flow smooth. When I am behind the console at venues like the Grand Hyatt or private residences, my priority is seamless transitions. Guests who spend their lives on stage or in front of cameras need a DJ who can read their mood without needing constant direction. ### My Approach to Exclusive Events * **Discretion is Key:** I understand the need for privacy. Whether it is an intimate party or a larger gathering, I ensure the music environment remains exclusive and comfortable for all guests. * **Genre Versatility:** A room full of music industry professionals might want 80s English retro, modern Bollywood, or even deep house. My open-format style means I am prepared to pivot instantly based on who is on the dance floor. * **Seamless Integration:** I offer VDJ capabilities, which means I can handle visual cues for performances, background mood visuals, or simply keep the screens looking classy to match the venue decor. ### Frequently Asked Questions **Do you handle live performance support?** Yes. I have supported artists like Armaan Malik during live sets. I understand the nuances of live audio, sound checks, and timing required for professional performances. **Can you travel for private destination events?** I am based in Mumbai but I am available to travel for high-profile gigs across India and abroad. If the event is on the map, I will get there. ## About DJ Ash I am DJ Ash. My job is to make sure your party hits that perfect note.
