When I bring The Collective—my team of live percussionists, dhol players, and VJs—we transform the stage. We sync custom visuals with live music to turn a standard reception into a full-scale concert. You aren't hiring a DJ; you are hiring a production crew that manages sound, rhythm, and crowd energy from start to finish. ### More Than A DJ Set When you book The Collective, you are opting out of the standard DJ-and-mic setup. This is a production. We specialize in blending electronic soundscapes with raw, live energy. My team of percussionists (Darbuka/Tabla) and wind instrumentalists (Sax/Violin) don't just play along; they jam in real-time, matching the BPM of our Bolly-Tech mixes. ### Why Book The Collective? * **Visual Sync:** Our VJ handles the LED wall, mixing graphics that react to the music. It is a sensory experience, not background noise. * **Genre Fluidity:** We transition smoothly from soulful fusion for your Haldi to high-energy techno for your reception. * **Crowd Interaction:** With our MC and percussionists on the floor, we don't just read the room; we control it. ### What To Expect Logistically To pull off this level of performance, we need the right setup. While I bring the console, the 'Collective' experience requires a professional sound system (PA) and an LED wall that supports our VJ's visual feed. We are happy to coordinate with your venue or event planner to ensure the tech rider is sorted before we arrive. We specialize in high-energy wedding events, corporate galas, and festival-style after-parties across India. If you want a dance floor that stays packed until sunrise, let's talk. ## About DJ Alex I’m DJ Alex, and I built The Collective to change how weddings sound and look. Whether it is a Sangeet or a massive after-party, my team and I bridge the gap between a DJ set and a live concert to keep the energy levels at an all-time high.
