By syncing electronic tracks with live tabla, we create a soundscape that works as well for a chic sundowner as it does for a Haldi ceremony. It is about bringing a sophisticated layer of live musicianship to the dance floor without losing that high-octane energy. At the core of this project is the jugalbandi between my console and the tabla. We do not just play a set; we craft a rhythmic journey that builds from melodic, soulful intros to high-BPM finales. It is perfect for those moments where you want the crowd to dance but also appreciate the artistry. Whether it is a sundowner looking for that relaxed, rhythmic vibe or a Haldi ceremony where you need to keep the mood celebratory, the tabla adds an organic texture that a digital track just cannot replicate. We treat this like a concert production. Since we are mixing live acoustic instruments with electronic tech, we require a dedicated sound check to make sure the audio levels are balanced. If you are planning a themed carnival or a high-end corporate gathering, this fusion creates a visual and auditory centerpiece that guests actually stop to watch, not just hear in the background. It is live, it is loud, and it is built to shift the energy of any room. ## About DJ Alex I am DJ Alex, and for me, the console is just the start. With The Sur-Taal Project, I am bringing my love for live, percussive energy directly into the mix. It is about taking the electronic beats I love and grounding them with the earthy, soulful rhythm of the tabla.
