[View full gallery](https://mytribe.in/dj_shiva_official/dj-training-mentorship/gallery) I don't believe in boring textbook lessons. My training is all about getting hands-on with real gear, learning to read the crowd, and finding your own sound—no confusing lingo, just pure music. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This is me, DJ Shiva, your mentor. I'm here to guide you through the world of DJing, sharing everything I know from my studio, which is packed with vinyl records and professional gear.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/e5f28409-5ad5-4bc9-b79a-e4eaf5a8c39f) ## About My Mentorship Approach You won't find any strict 'sir' here. My training is strictly hands-on, where we spend our time on Pioneer CDJs or Technics turntables instead of staring at manuals. Whether it's beatmatching by ear or learning to read a dancefloor, we focus on the skills that actually get you gigs. ### How We Train I treat my studio like a playground. You are here to learn the console, not memorize theory. We keep the sessions small—either 1-on-1 or just two students—so you get maximum time on the gear. ### Choose Your Path * **Beginner Digital DJ Course:** Perfect for those starting out. Over 4 weeks, we cover Pioneer gear, Rekordbox software, and essential techniques like manual beatmatching and drop mixing. We skip the Sync button so you learn to mix by ear. * **Professional DJ & Career Mentorship:** This 3-month deep dive is for those ready to hit the circuit. We tackle harmonic mixing, FX mastery, and crowd psychology. I also help with your brand, your Instagram, and real-world gig preparation. * **Analog Vinyl & Turntablism:** For the purists. We get into Technics SL 1200 setups, needle handling, and pitch riding. It is the real deal. ### Why Learn With Me? I have been where you are. My goal is to make the DJ world less intimidating and a lot more fun. You will get introduced to the local Mumbai and Thane event circuits, and I often invite students for gig shadowing. If you are serious about music and ready to work hard, I am all in. Bas ek choti si smile toh banti hai na? ## About DJ Shiva I'm DJ Shiva, and I'm here to show you that the console is your playground. Whether you are a total beginner or ready to hit the gig circuit, I will help you master the craft without the boring theory.
