I teach beatmatching the old-school way, purely by ear, so you truly understand phrasing and bar counting rather than relying on the sync button to do the work for you. Learning to DJ is more than just selecting tracks, it is about controlling the energy of a room. Whether you are a total beginner or an aspiring professional, my sessions are designed to move you past the confusing technical jargon and get you comfortable in the booth. ### My Training Methodology I follow a simple, hands-on approach. We start with the core of DJing, which is music theory, phrasing, and manual beatmatching. You will spend your time in the studio using professional equipment, not staring at a textbook. * **Hardware Mastery:** We cover everything from setting up Technics SL 1200 turntables to navigating Pioneer DJM mixers and controllers. You will learn about cable management, monitor placement, and booth troubleshooting. * **Digital & Analog:** From Rekordbox music management and hot cues to vinyl needle handling and anti-skating calibration, I make sure you are ready for any booth setup. * **Career Mentorship:** DJing is a business. My advanced mentorship programs cover crowd psychology, how to read a dance floor, mic techniques for MCing, and how to build your artist brand on platforms like Instagram. ### Who is this for? I welcome anyone who is serious about the craft. I am not a strict teacher, I am the guy who has been there. I help you find your unique style, whether you are into Bollywood remixes, House, or Melodic Techno. We operate across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, and my sessions are 1-on-1 or max 2 students to ensure you get the attention you need. Bas ek choti si smile toh banti hai na? ## About DJ Shiva I’m DJ Shiva, and I believe the console is the best place to be.
