I bring a full line array system to these gigs, not just standard speakers, because at open university grounds you need punchy bass that carries to the back rows without losing clarity. That is what actually keeps a crowd of 300 plus locked in. ### The Concert Energy When you are running a college fest, you cannot risk audio dropouts or weak sound. I treat every university event like a main-stage festival. That means bringing in a dedicated line array system, multiple wireless mics for stage announcements, and a full lighting rig to make sure the crowd sees the production as clearly as they hear it. ### My Setup for Large Crowds My standard college fest setup is built for impact: * **Premium Sound:** Full Line Array system, 8 tops, and 4 subs so the music hits everyone. * **Visuals:** LED video wall for graphics and live visuals. * **Lighting:** Box truss with moving head sharpies for that concert look. * **Live FX:** Smoke, haze, and cold pyros to drop on the beat. ### The Vibe I am an Odia toka, so expect a mix that keeps moving. I do not just play one genre. I blend Bollywood, EDM, and commercial bangers with technical precision, keeping the set unpredictable. I am on the mic hyping the crowd, shouting cues, and making sure nobody stands still. Whether it is Manipal University or a fest in Vijayawada, I travel, I setup, and I make sure the dance floor is packed until the lights go out. If you want a DJ who commands the stage rather than just hiding behind a console, let's talk. ## About DJ Shan I am Shan, and I live to control the madness on stage. Coming from Odisha to Bangalore, I have learned that whether it is a packed university ground or a massive festival stage, it is all about the connection. I bring my own energy to the console every single time.
