I started as a pure vocalist, performing at festivals and stage shows, which is why when I DJ, I do not just stand behind the console—I grab the mic, I sing, and I interact with the crowd to keep the energy high. I did not just wake up one day and decide to be a DJ. My roots are in singing. You can see it in my throwback photos from industry events and local gigs—I was the girl with the mic, focused on the melody and the connection with the audience. Over time, I realized I wanted more control over the party. I wanted to create the atmosphere, not just perform in it. That is how the 'Singer + DJ' vibe was born. Unlike standard DJs who just play tracks, I bring that stage presence to every set. Whether it is a corporate gig or a private wedding in Bengaluru, I switch between handling the decks and performing live vocals. This is not just a playlist, it is a performance. Why this matters for your event: When you hire me, you are not just getting someone to press 'play.' You are getting a live vocalist who understands the pulse of the crowd. I have worked with other artists and producers, learning the technical side of sound engineering to ensure my mashups—like my experimental classical techno mixes—hit differently. If you want a DJ who can actually hype up the room and sing along to the drops, let's talk. ## About Riyanna I am Riyanna, a singer-turned-DJ who lives for the rhythm. I do not believe in copying trends, I create my own vibe by blending live vocals with high-energy DJ sets.
